The newly minted Overwatch League has been rife with scandals and professional players behaving in decidedly unprofessional ways, but not all of those faux pas have been broadcast for the world to see. Matt Vaughn's own livestream fail was. The best of us have rage quit from time to time, but as the tired saying goes, it's just a game. For Dellor, this particular match got under his skin. He was getting hit by an insanely accurate Widowmaker again and again.
While his teammates sounded fairly calm, Dellor took to screaming over the chat and eventually found an outlet for his rage. He said the n-word, loudly, for nearly thirty seconds straight. An immature, over the top, and downright racist response in the first place, Dellor made things all the worse for himself by doing it live on his stream, which later went viral as a clip. It was impossible for this not to get back to and mar the image of the team he was signed to.
Toronto Esports promptly dropped Dellor , and in a single, sad tweet, he announced he was done with esports. Lea May, who made a name for herself as LegendaryLea on Twitch, is another example of a streamer going the extra distance to make themselves look bad by going on a less-than-PC tirade.
At the time of the drunk stream in , LegendaryLea had over half a million followers. Viewers watched her play Hearthstone and somehow the subject of kids with cancer came up, and LegendaryLea had some opinions she shared without shame.
Citing her education in biology, she claimed it was all just biological destiny that these kids were doomed. All this allegedly in response to a request for a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. This isn't the best look, but it certainly got her noticed, which is what some claim she wanted in the first place.
While saying kids with cancer deserve to die doesn't get you banned from Twitch, flashing the stream "on accident" does. That instance only resulted in a 30 day ban, and it brought her more infamy than slurring about dying children.
As previously mentioned, Twitch is doing its best to avoid becoming a cam site, where streamers show off their nature-given goods in order to get donations. However, there are still notorious times when the line between streaming a game and streaming oneself becomes blurred; oftentimes alcohol helps to make the distinction extra murky. This is what happened to RuneScape streamer Roxicett. She earned her perma-ban by not just being absolutely hammered on stream, but by turning her stream into a Gamer Girls Gone Wild video.
It's not exactly rare for female streamers to have wardrobe malfunctions while streaming. These are accidents, or are at least claimed to be. With Roxicett, however, it's hard to see how her pulling down her shirt and pants mid-stream could be accidental. Her channel is banned, but that night she drank a little too much will forever live upon the internet via livestream fail videos and NSFW subreddits. There seem to be a few too many examples of Overwatch pro players ending their careers before they've even had a chance to begin, but Felix Lengyel seems particularly unrepentant for his bannable behavior.
The trouble with team Dallas Fuel's Lengyel, aka xQc, started with being a sore loser. Although he didn't even personally play in the match he was so worked up about, he felt it necessary to take to his own stream and go on a homophobic diatribe against Houston Outlaws player Austin "Muma" Wilmot. The unfortunate thing is that homophobic slurs and language are often thrown around casually in-stream, but this was targeted considering that Wilmot is openly gay.
Suspended and forced to pay a fine, xQc didn't seem deterred from behaving badly when he later called casters "cancer," sarcastically apologized for it via Twitter , and then went on to spam racially disparaging emotes at a Black reporter. His poor in-game performance didn't make up for the scandals he was bringing to the Overwatch League.
He was soon released from the Dallas Fuel. The previously mentioned Aqualadora clearly should not be allowed around animals, and neither should KneeColeslaw.
Despite having several cats, she seems to know nothing about them, nor does she seem to see the problem with choking them out on stream while her friends plead with her to stop. If you're an animal lover, it's not a pretty picture. There have been several clips around the internet showing her holding her cats down as while they yowl so that she can "assert her dominance" and "show him who's the boss.
The proof, as they say, is in the highly publicized videos from her own stream. Seemingly unbothered, she has an image of a crying cat as the header for her Twitch page's section about subscriber milestones. While she still has a considerable number of followers, she can't escape forever being that person who hurt an animal in front of hundreds of witnesses. Haley-Isabel "MissQGemini" is one of the most infamous examples of cheating in gamer culture.
Silver ignores her response, getting down to business. He explains to Juvia that her opponent is the necromancer that is controlling the dead chairman. In order to stop FACE, he must be defeated. Juvia questions him, because she knows what that would mean for Silver. That she must do this For Gray. The task entrusted to Juvia will bring forth the tears of her loved one.
Juvia tries to continue her talk with Silver while being attacked by Keyes, asking if he can hear her. Concluding he is now unreachable, she decides that she doesn't have a choice regarding Keyes, but wonders if it's really for Gray's benefit. They recognized that his anger and burning desire for revenge are what allowed him to extend his life for so long. He continues on to say that father and son, one dead and the other living, shall now cut each other's throats. It will be a story that creates an even more perfect corpse.
Juvia calls Keyes a monster; that humans are not his play things. However, the necromancer responds by saying they are research tools. Angered, Juvia shouts that humans don't exist to acquiesce to his whims.
As Juvia attacks him again, Keyes claims that he will kill her, and then use her corpse to slaughter all of her friends. He adds that without his master, Silver will also disappear. Keyes replies that is human foolishness; such is the nature of humans. That emotions are but impediments of reason. As Keyes calls humans unsightly impediment bundles of ego, he swallows Juvia into his magical barrier particle body.
Her friends look on in shock as she is engulfed by his curse, completely vanishing. Keyes then feels a sudden throbbing inside of him, realizing that Juvia had turned into water. He is horrified that he could be done in by human magic. She bursts from his body, utterly destroying him from the inside out. Screaming at the top of her lungs, Juvia says that even if they change form, feelings always remain in the heart.
As his skull cracks, the other Fairy Tail members express proud looks; meanwhile the demons of Tartaros are in shock. Juvia is still crying, begging for Gray to forgive her. Silver then speaks to Juvia once more, showing gratitude. She tries to form a sentence through her tears, but Silver interrupts her, telling her not to say anything.
He tells her to take care of Gray. Bringing her hands to her face, Juvia promises she will, as Gray watches his father disappear, saying he can rest now. Before she hits the ground, Lucy catches her, telling her to hang in there. Juvia says that she wants to see Gray, and her friend can only hug her, assuring her that she will see him soon.
Unfortunately he does not stick around for too long, leaving before Juvia wakes up. Once awake, Juvia asks if Gray was there, followed by her guilt stricken face.
Gajeel tells her that he headed somewhere, as she looks towards the floor. Juvia finds Gray sitting in front of a tombstone in the northern continent, hesitantly comes up behind him, and immediately apologizes when Gray accuses her of following him. Wanting to tell him for a long time now, Juvia admits that the person who took down the necromancer that was controlling Silver was herself. Shaking, hiccuping, and sobbing Juvia explains that she believes she has no right to love Gray anymore, because she killed his father.
With his eyes hidden, Gray makes his way over to Juvia, grabbing her by the front of her coat. Afterwards, Gray and Juvia are standing side by side as Gray vows to defeat E. Juvia agrees, giving him her full support with a smile.
A year has passed since the disbandment of Fairy Tail. Members have gone their separate ways. Lucy has been researching over the year, and tried to keep track of everyone. It's notable that Gray and Juvia's pictures overlap on her wall. Natsu and Lucy meet again and decide to go on an adventure to rebuild Fairy Tail. After Natsu, Lucy, and Happy encounter Wendy, the group wonders where to head next. Lucy mentions a town called the village of the rain bringer, where it rains all the time.
They wonder if it could be Juvia. She is then seen walking in the rain alone, as she has reverted back to being the "rain woman". Natsu and co.
The dragon slayer makes a comment that he can smell her, even though the others think the village is abandoned. Natsu runs towards Juvia, who is sitting on a bench with her head down. Thinking Gray has returned, Juvia perks up and hallucinates, picturing Gray saying he's come back for her. She runs towards Natsu, trying to hug him shouting Gray's name.
Natsu stops her, making her snap out of her delusion. The group asks how she's been and if she's been living in this village alone. After hearing that, Juvia starts to cry and then faints right on the spot. Juvia has a really high fever and is now resting in bed. Lucy wonders if this is Juvia's house, but Natsu interrupts and says that he can smell Gray in the house too. Juvia then tells them that she lived with Gray.
Her friends give a shocked expression, but she continues to say that just the two of them lived in the house together alone with a grin. She tells the story of how they lived. Gray and Juvia ate together, trained together, and did jobs together. She explains that these were happy days.
But then one day everything changed. Juvia has a flashback to her picking up Gray's clothes, and as she does that she sees black marks on his body. Juvia asks him what's wrong with his body, but Gray tells her not to worry and asks what's for lunch. Since that day, he started going off on his own more often until he stopped coming back completely.
Natsu comments that Gray is a jerk for leaving without a word. It's been half a year since he last came back to the house. Juvia says that she went searching every day for him, but never found him. At that point she decided to wait instead. She starts to cry and explains it's because this place holds many memories for Juvia and Gray, and so she's sure that he will come home one day. Juvia apologizes and turns over in bed, not facing her friends, saying a reunion should be happy.
Natsu looks out the window with a serious face and promises to bring Gray back. The demon slaying marks on Gray's body are eating away at him, as he is now a member of the black magic cult, Avatar. As she heals Juvia, Wendy makes it clear even with her magic, Juvia's fever isn't breaking. She tells Natsu in her head to bring Gray back as quickly as he can. Natsu, Lucy, and Happy find Gray, who seems to be possessed, at Avatar's base and try to talk sense into him.
While fighting, Natsu mentions to Gray that Juvia is waiting for him. Gray remains silent and almost gets hit by Natsu's attack. Gray breaks them free while remaining on the lacrima phone with Erza.
The two explain themselves as they all travel towards the town the purification ritual Avatar has planned will take place. It turns out that Erza ran into Gray and asked for his help in checking out Avatar. Gray agreed because he wants to defeat END anyway. Natsu comments to Gray that it's wrong he did all this without telling Juvia, and Gray is once again silent with a blank expression. Erza interrupts and says she was the one who stopped Gray from saying anything because the less people who knew, the higher the success rate of the mission.
She also says that Juvia could have been in danger. Hearing this, Happy concludes it was all for Juvia's sake but Natsu's mind remains unchanged. Erza feels for sorry what may have happened to Juvia, and says that they didn't think the mission would take this long. Team Natsu is fighting Avatar to stop the purification ritual.
Gray faces off against Briar, who is a clone user and can manipulate their alter ego's feelings. Briar makes a clone that confesses love to Gray, and suddenly Juvia appears behind him extremely angry, assuming she is a love rival. Juvia uses water claw on the Briar clone, while Gray stares in shock wondering why Juvia is there.
She hugs Gray and tells him she's missed him. Juvia also mentions that she had a feeling Gray was in trouble so she came as fast as she could, to which Gray tells her it's not a big deal. He puts his hands on her shoulders and asks how she got there, and she says that Wendy's sense of smell is really good.
Gray stares at her and then reverts his eyes down with a guilty expression and all he can say is that he's sorry. After that, he says he will explain later but for now they must take all their enemies down. Juvia understands as they both strip their shirts off in sync preparing for battle. The two fight Avatar side by side. Later, Gray finds Frosch cute and gives the exceed a hug.
Juvia then thinks she has another love rival. Juvia says that her and Gray living together was a secret, with a happy look on her face. Gray corrects her saying that's not what he meant, but rather he was talking about him and Erza's mission.
Fairy Tail has been reunited after the one year disbandment. Many members are at work rebuilding the guild again. Gray is on a ladder hammering some wood and asks Juvia, who is standing below him to hand him a nail. She excitedly uses her water magic to bring the nail to him. Gray tells her not to get it wet. Seeing their interaction, other members of the guild start to comment on what Gray and Juvia's relationship is because they heard they were living together.
Rumors included them getting married, having kids, but Gray cheating on Juvia with Lucy or Erza, etc. Hearing the rumors, Gray freaks out and asks how far they are going with this. Sweating, he plays off living with Juvia as them just crashing in the same place together, while Juvia is smirking in the background.
Juvia asks Cana if she's seen Gray, and she jokingly says to the water mage she drank him with her booze. Juvia takes that seriously and stretches Cana's mouth looking for him. Mirajane interjects and tells her that Gray left with Natsu and Lucy a while ago. Juvia imagines Gray and Lucy together and starts to comically hyperventilate, but a smirking Gajeel puts his arm on her head and tells her they are forming the B Team to find Laxus.
While searching for Laxus, Juvia wonders why she is with this team, but Mirajane says it can't be helped because Gray left before them. Lisanna comments they are all girls so what is to be embarrassed about, and Mirajane think it's funny because Juvia is so confident in front of Gray.
Therefore, Levy calls Gray's name, tricking Juvia as she leaps into the hot springs saying she "accidentally" dropped her towel. Cana wonders what her problem was again.
When she sees Gray again, Juvia rushes over to him and is glad he is alright. They then return to the guild with their friends. Back at the guild, Makarov is named the master again and gives information about Alvarez, and Fairy Heart. Mavis then appears and tells the story of Fairy Heart, and the story of her and Zeref. Unfortunately it is a tragic love story, and Juvia feels sorry for Mavis.
She cries, getting a shocked reaction from Gray, and says Mavis had to fight the person she loved. It's now the calm before the storm and the night before they plan to invade Alvarez.
The members of the guild are spending their time freely. Before the battle of Fairy tail vs Alvarez begins, Juvia approaches Gray who is standing on a balcony eating a chocolate bar, and he offers her some which she takes in embarrassment.
With a smile, Gray says he is grateful to have her with him and notes how she is always by his side. Juvia is modest and tries not to take credit, and Gray tells her that once the battle is over he will give her an answer. Her eyes are wide and she blushes in surprise. He continues on and tells her for now to let him focus on the fight. Juvia smiles knowingly and tells him she will. Gray says that he has some tricks up his sleeve, and the scene ends with Mavis smiling over the two.
Gray and Juvia continue to fight the enemies of the empire side by side. The Strauss siblings find the duo and lend them a hand as well. Ajeel of the Spriggan 12 creates a sand whirlpool that engulfs the city, causing Fairy Tail to stand their ground.
Juvia holds onto Lisanna for support while crying out for Gray. Gray's team is left to face another Spriggan 12 member, Wahl Icht.
Juvia runs forward first activating her water body, but the robot is able to knock her down using steam that causes her side to burn. Juvia cries in pain, while Gray calls out her name and curses. In order to help her, he starts an ice make attack but is stopped by a robot who uses fire. The rest of the group seem to have problems as well. It's revealed that Wahl can analyze his opponent's strengths and weaknesses and creates robots to perfectly counter them. Lisanna asks the two where their clothes are, because they both stripped.
Following that, everyone meets back up at the guild to discuss their next plans. Gray comments that he hasn't seen Lyon's ugly mug in awhile but Juvia remarks she would prefer not to see him.
They then realize that Natsu is missing. Juvia shows Gray a heart shaped sleeping bag for them to share but Gray won't sleep in it because it's too hot. Gray and Juvia appear in front of Lyon rushing through the front lines to take out the enemies. Lyon still thinks Juvia is cute. Two enemies appear catching Juvia off guard. Gray turns around to her, screams her name, and to look behind her. Juvia is saved by Meredy.
Gray recalls all the moments that gave him a push further into his path of overcoming the traumas of the past and growing into the person he is today. His moment with Juvia where he sobs into her chest at the end of the Tartaros Arc is one of those important moments he remembers.
All the Fairy Tail members are attempting to make it back to the guild in order to save Mavis. Gray fights Invel the winter mage, who states Gray himself has darkness within his heart.
Invel chains Gray and Juvia together by the neck with his spell called Ice Lock. It is a magic that seals a person's heart and submits them to be Invel's puppet. Invel raises the stakes as Gray and Juvia must fight each other to the death, and the chain will not break until one of them is dead.
Gray doesn't believe him as he tries to break the chain, but becomes dizzy. Juvia notices her body won't do what she tells it to. Invel calculates that Gray will be the winner, and the moment he kills an ally, the darkness will consume him. The two stare each other down, saying each other's names. However, Juvia is fighting the spell as she says in her head that she would rather sacrifice her own life than harm Gray, and she will do just that while she still has her own wits. Gray and Juvia simultaneously take their own lives because they do not want to hurt each other.
Gray and Juvia start to battle each other without control. Their attacks first cancel out each other, but also hit them both at the same time knocking them back. Gray then punches Juvia's face hard, and she attempts to kick him but he blocks it. Gray launches a series of attacks on Juvia, including slamming her body into the ground and punching her all over.
Invel's inner monologue continues as he still calculates Gray to be victorious. Once Gray kills Juvia, the guilt will plague him, turning him into a warrior strong enough to defeat E. Juvia wonders why she's hurting Gray, and believes it's not possible. She decides that she must let Gray kill her, but immediately changes her mind because she knows Gray would doubtless blame himself if that were to happen.
Juvia comes to the conclusion she must indeed kill herself before she loses her will completely. Gathering courage, Juvia forms a water blade around her arm and raises it.
Invel taunts the water mage, saying that her resistance is futile. Ice lock robs you of your ability to think or feel, and that the chain will only break if one of them dies.
Juvia responds that this emotion is too great to be shut up within her body. With a sad smile, Juvia tells Gray she was very fortunate to meet someone like him. She then proceeds to stab herself in the stomach with her own attack. However, both Gray and Juvia attain shocked faces, because Gray stabbed himself as well with an ice sword.
As the sword pierces him, Gray asks a shocked Juvia why she did it too. Invel comments that it is a simultaneous suicide, as Gray and Juvia did the same thing at the same time. Gray starts to explain the reason he did it was because he did not want to hurt Juvia.
At first, Gray started to say he didn't want to hurt a comrade, but immediately corrected himself and said " No. I didn't want to hurt you " , indicating that Juvia is more than a friend to him, thus confirming his feelings for her.
Trembling, Gray continues to say that he wanted to protect her, but Juvia interrupts, saying she's very happy. Juvia understands what Gray means. Meanwhile, Invel does not understand how they could do this, and as the two fall, Gray says in his head that it wasn't supposed to turn out like this and for Natsu to avenge them. He was willing to give up everything, his father's will, his ambition to defeat E. The two lay motionless in their own piles of blood, as the ice lock starts to break.
Invel starts to walk away, angry that his plan was foiled. He miscalculated and underestimated Gray and Juvia's feelings for each other. The chain is no longer around Gray's neck and blizzard also stops. The chain has completely disappeared, and Gray starts to wake up slowly, wondering how he is still alive because he made sure he wouldn't be. He starts to feel Juvia's blood flow inside him. Afraid of what he will see, a shaking Gray turns to look at Juvia laying beside him.
He hears her voice say Water Make: Blood, a technique she learned secretly in case anything happened to Gray. Barely alive, she performs the magic with her last ounce of strength. Juvia tells Gray she will live on within him and to not be sad. Gray crawls over to her as tears start streaming down his face, not believing what was happening could be true. He holds Juvia's motionless body in his arms, crying and says her name. He then envisions her beautiful form smiling at him, saying that her life belongs to him.
Gray continues to cry extremely hard, screaming at the top of his lungs in agony. He flashes back to many interactions he's had with Juvia, and says he will be more serious about her, so to please open her eyes. Gray continues to beg and say her name, cradling her head as he places his forehead against hers while he cries.
Meanwhile, Invel is looking for Brandish, but feels a strong power in back of him that makes him shiver. Slowly turning around, he sees an enraged Gray. Invel sees a seething Gray, wondering how he can still be alive, and says there's no way he can fight with that wound.
Gray proves him wrong as he punches the winter general right in the face, showing no mercy. A furious Gray forces Invel to use his ice armor, to which Gray imitates and molds it with his ice magic.
Gray is silent throughout the entire battle, but he completely dominates the shield of spriggan. It's a one sided fight, and before dealing the final blow, Gray screams that Invel stole Juvia's future, and that's unforgivable. As Invel is defeated, Gray has tears in his eyes, looking broken. Elsewhere, Juvia slowly starts to wake up and sees Wendy healing her.
She questions if she's alive, and it's thanks to Carla's premonition they were able to locate her before it was too late. Juvia is extremely grateful, thanking them both. She also says she got the sensation that Gray kissed her while she was unconscious, although Carla said it's her imagination.
Juvia immediately wonders what happened to Gray, and if he's safe. Wendy says that he wasn't there when they arrived. Invel lays on the ground, completely annihilated. Believing she is dead, Gray with shaded eyes says that he could keep punching at Invel but that won't bring Juvia back. Shaking, he repeats that Juvia is never coming back.
Invel mentions that's just like his parents and teacher, while Gray asks how he knew about that. Invel continues to say it's Gray fate, and as long as E. When Gray states he will defeat the demon, Invel states he is the only one who can but states he is unaware of its true identity. He then reveals to a shocked Gray that his true enemy is none other than his close friend Etherious Natsu Dragneel. D which is a demon that was formerly Zeref's younger brother and that Zeref's demons have a natural instinct to destroy their creator.
With this new information acquired, Gray encounters Natsu and asks him if he really is E. His thoughts confirmed, Gray says that the demons from the book of Zeref took Ur and his parents away from him, and now Juvia too.
Clenching his fist, Gray attacks Natsu, declaring he will kill him. After Erza breaks up Gray's fight with a demonic Natsu, Juvia calls out to him, telling him that she is safe. Gray is shocked to see her still alive, shaking as he says her name. Dropping to his knees, he slowly starts losing consciousness. Juvia runs to and tends to Gray, cradling him in her arms before suffering a similar fate as a result of overexerting herself, falling on him. Charle comments the two always overdo it.
After what seems to be the defeat of Zeref and Acnologia, Team Natsu talks about what they want to do now that the war is over. Gray says he needs to properly apologize to Juvia, followed by flashbacks of what they went through together during their fight with Invel. Gray and Juvia are sent to Hargeon in order to prepare a ship in an attempt to make the dragon motion sick, enabling the chance to cast Fairy Sphere on him.
Gray protects Juvia during the attack. Lucy casts Fairy Sphere on him, while Natsu destroys his mind in another dimension. With everyone on the continents help, Acnologia is defeated for good. Following Acnologia's defeat at Lucy's award ceremony a year after the war, Juvia had too much to drink and began stripping in front of everyone. That's what led to the post on Reddit, entitled, "Dinglederper back to scamming with phantoml0rd," which sparked Varga's legal threat.
The moderators responded with an " open letter " stating that one post about Varga's new gambling site does not qualify as "systemic or continued actions," and that it's unlikely to put him in fear for his life because no real-life information is included. It invited him to reach out if he does see any personally identifiable information posted or experiences threats against his person as a result, but added that Reddit adminstrators would be the proper people to contact if he has "actual, legitimate concerns" about the legality of the post.
Varga hasn't yet indicated whether he will actually follow through on his threat, but the moderators clearly aren't too concerned about it: They even gave him a little bit of sideways legal advice by indirectly suggesting that he could cite the post as libel, as FSLabs has apparently done in response to posts about its AX expansion for Flight Simulator X. Andy has been gaming on PCs from the very beginning, starting as a youngster with text adventures and primitive action games on a cassette-based TRS
