Even though Zekrom is a popular Pokemon and has been present in many different Pokemon video games over the years, there is still a lot that is overlooked about Zekrom among the fan base.
Zekrom weighs a whopping pounds, which makes it massive in weight when compared to most other Pokemon in the franchise. It is easy to see why Zekrom would weigh this much when looking at its general appearance and how large its torso and limbs are.
One of the most interesting things about Zekrom is that it is able to fly despite its large weight and body. Although Zekrom may seem like a terrifying Pokemon when looking at its overall appearance, it's actually one of the most helpful legendaries that the Pokemon world has ever seen.
Zekrom wishes to help any human that wants to create a better world for all of the creatures that reside within it. This fact isn't well known about Zekrom, especially because this creature has a terrifying presence, and most trainers imagine that it wouldn't be willing to aid in the mission of making the world a better place. As previously stated, Zekrom is able to soar through the skies at record paces; however, it cannot float in a magical way similar to a lot of other Pokemon in the franchise.
Instead, Zekrom has small wings behind its body that are easy to mistake for extra arms or design decorations if it isn't inspected thoroughly upon catching it. Zekrom's wings are much smaller when compared to a Pokemon such as Lugia, which is why most trainers don't even realize it has wings at all. It is strange that Zekrom can fly so quickly with its relatively small wings.
Yin and yang are intended to represent dualism, which can be seen in the design of Zekrom which has a darker, masculine, and more industrial appearance in contrast to Reshiram's lighter, feminine, and more natural appearance. It may also be based off of deities in Zoroastrianism, two of which are depicted as equally powerful, though they represent different powers and values, with Zekrom being based on Angra Mainyu, who was associated with darkness.
Physically, Zekrom overall seems to resemble a dragon and an electrcic turbine. Zekrom comes from kura Japanese for "black". Ze was also used in its name as it sounds harder compared to the Re in Reshiram's name.
