Even if you already have all the five parts now, hold on a minute before going back to Bhakti, and proceed to open anothe treasure ahead on the bridge.

Fight your way North. This treasure contains the Taming Pole weapon for Fang; this is one of those weapons with high stats and Stagger Lock. Since it's exactly the weapon that we're going to upgrade with Bhakti's rewards, make one last effort and fight this other Vetala to acquire the precious weapon.

One last treasure will be found past the last Save Station, and contains an Ethersol , but we'll go there later. Now it's time to go back to Bhakti and receive your prizes. The two best Inorganic materials are the Ultracompact Reactor, useful for very large amounts of EXP typically only weapons will need these , and the Superconductors, useful for smaller amounts of EXP.

They are not cheap, so please don't buy the wrong amounts and use them effectively as you'll be told. To be safe, save the game before doing upgrades , just in case.

Make sure to have enough Inorganic materials before applying them. For example, if you need use three Ultracompact Reactors and you only have two in your inventory, buy another one before using three of them at once -- using two first, and one later, is NOT the same, since the first Inorganic materials will reset or at least lower the EXP bonus from the Organic material, and therefore the next Inorganic material will not benefit from the bonus unless you consume more Organic materials to re-add the bonus.

Use 36x of any of the three Organic materials mentioned earlier to add the 3x EXP bonus. You should already have an Uraninite from your journey two, actually , and you should already have two Ultracompact Reactors since they were part of the Bhakti rewards.

Therefore this upgrade will only cost you 50, Gil to buy the third Ultracompact Reactor and about 3, 2, Gil for the Organic materials.

Use 17x Superconductor to reach max level. Use 1x Perovskite to upgrade it to Hyades Magnums Lv Use 36x Sturdy Bone. Use 3x Ultracompact Reactor. Use 29x Superconductor to reach max level. The one I'm specifically talking about is the Black Belt, an accessory that will be essential to get the Growth Egg early on, and will continue to be useful in a lot of battles including most boss battles.

Right now you can equip nine of them at most three per character , so let's just make these for now. Each one costs 4, Gil. You should already have two of these, so to purchase the remaining ones you'll have to spend 31, Gil.

Still, that means that you'll take half the damage from physical attacks when you have them all equipped! They cost and upgrade exactly like Black Belts, so just do what you did with Black Belts to upgrade them to max level too.

Cost will be the same too a bit less actually, since you have more than 2x Rune Bracelets from treasures, so you'll have to buy less to get a total of nine. We're almost out of money now, but don't worry: we won't have to make any other upgrade for a long time. If you want, now you can go farm Behemoth King and Megistotherian in The Archylte Steppe to complete the farming of Stage 8 of Crystarium if you didn't complete it earlier.

The most common HP-damaging attack is a series of small lasers; they don't deal a lot of damage on their own, but they will add up as the battle goes on. The boss can also inflict several status ailments, among which Cursega and Dazega.

You can't really do much about it; equipping Accessories against these statuses would help, but it would also occupy slots that can be used for more important stuff such as HP bangles , and it's simply not worth it.

The boss won't cast buffs on himself, which is a relief. This move is the main reason why the fight can't go "mathematically" towards a certain situation, and sudden changes will happen. This move somehow reminds of the original multi-hit attack he had in Chapter 9, but it's actually not half as bad as that old move: the damage dealt is moderate, and can be quickly healed with Potions and MEDs. Make sure to always have green HP though, or else this is indeed an attack that can cost you a game-over.
